BALTIC DANCE BY KEVIN SCOTT OLSON is a short story in the Michael Quinn series.  Even though the book is only 45 pages long, you still get the fast paced, heart stopping spy thriller tha Mr.Olson is known for. 

Quinn is assigned to rescue a Latvian woman, a spy, from the Russians.  He, like always , works off the books and way way under the cover of darkness.  Getting into Russia is not really a big deal,getting out,with the girl and alive is another thing. 

I have been a huge fan of Mr.Olson's and love his Michael Quinn series.  If you like you spy thriller down and dirty then BALTIC DANCE is for you.  Better yet read them all,you'll love them.

KEEP YOU CLOSE BY KAREN CLEVELAND is one of those thrillers that if I didnt have to work for a living, I would have set up 24 hours just to finish in one sitting!  Dont pass this one up folks!  The twists and turns keeps you thinking you know what is going to happen and who done it but,the next page proves to yourself just how wrong you really were!  Surprised about chapter one?  Just wait till you all finish the last chapter!

If you are into the kick ass,forget to breathe type of book , then THREAT LEVEL ALPHA BY LEO J MALONEY is right up you alley!  From page one to the very last page,the book moves along at a steady pace.  Everything from kidnapping to C4 explosives,from shootouts to Russians, THREAT LEVEL ALPHA has it all. 

This is the first of Mr. Maloney's Dan Morgan books I  have read and I am pretty sure it wont be the last.  Morgan, meek mild mannered classic car dealer/collector is really a kick ass kinda guy  who not only takes his government spy job seriously but his role as a husband and father.  And whether he is on a case, in a third world country or out on vacation, Morgan is ready and willing to fight .

KILL SWITCH JAMES ROLLINS

THE KILL SWITCH (TUCKER WAYNE/KANE )  BY JAMES ROLLINS is the first in the Tucker Wayne series. Along with his K9 partner Kane .Tucker is a for hire, ex Army Ranger.  Kane is his k9 partner and between the two of them they can get into some very dicey situations. 

From page one you get non stop action and non stop troubler for this pair.  Tucker, is hired by Sigma Force, to bring a Russian doctor out of Russia and back to the US. Since Tucker and Kane are already in Russia, completing an assignment from a very wealthy man,Tucker reluctantly agrees.  To Tucker this sounds routine .  It is anything but routine.  With every twist and turn , with every turn of the page Tucker and Kane are trying to complete their assignment and stay alive at the same time.

I have read a couple of Rollins Sigma Force and enjoyed them. I definitely enjoyed this novel and hope to read more of both of Mr. Rollin's series in the future.

We all know the old saying "short but sweet" ?  Well short but creepy is what describes BRIEF,HORRIBLE MOMENTS : A COLLECTION OF ONE SENTENCE HORROR STORIES BY MARKO PANDZO.  In this short novel you will find just one sentence to describe the stories.  One sentence is more than enough for Mr Pandza to insert some very gruesome images. 

Dont let the size or the content scare you away from this one.  Its well worth the read,no matter how short.
