Bennie Rosato tells her she cant because the company Mary wants to sue is a client of the firm and a conflict of interest. From there the sparks fly! Mary talks about quitting the firm, Bennie doesnt want her to go ahead with the lawsuit, and the head of the company is willing to do ANYTHING , including murder,to make this lawsuit that promises not only monetary damages, but horrible public relations in the media go away.
I seriously couldnt put this one down. Poor Mary trying to do what is best for her client is stuck in the middle of a huge mess and it may get her killed. I loved every heart pounding minute of this book.
