SPEAKING OF MURDER BY LES ROBERTS. This is the first book of the Milan Jacovich mysteries and I loved it!  Very light hearted and the characters are well defined and likeable . 

Milan and his cohort, KO (Kevin O'Bannon) are hired by a hotel to help provide security for some very controversial motivational speakers.  The most problematic of them, Tommy Triller, who for various reasons, including his popularity, are targets for any would be hit man or wacko follower.  Milan & KO find working hotel security not such a hot job as none of the main speakers want them around & they are all asses! When murder occurs on the first night, Milan finds himself nose to nose with his love Detective Tobe Blaine.  From there the mystery really unfolds.

Not only did I get a pretty good mystery but I found the characters  & the plot entertaining.  I think Mr.Roberts just got another fan in me.

EXTINCTION HORIZON (THE EXTINCTION CYCLE# 1) BY NICHOLAS SANSBURY SMITH is definitely one of those books that is so intense I forget to breathe! 

What scared me the most about this book is that it could actually happen in reality. 

So, what do we have here: We have the US government, who developed a experimental drug during the Vietnam War, give said drug to US soldiers, drug backfires and soldiers become monsters who eat people and themselves . Next, fast forward to today .US, gov has taken drug, mixed it with ebola and POOF, we have people who not only turn into monsters but they infect other people who thus infect other people and so on. It is up to Delta Force Team & CDC to try and eradicate this mess before they, & all of mankind are exterminated. 
This book scared the daylights out of me . 

I cannot wait to read second in this series!

"I DO" 15 YEARS OF TRUE STORIES FROM A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER BY KIERSTEN HALL  is over 200 pages of really what not to do when planning a wedding.  Kiersten Hall has taken 15 years of her career and  written this totally hilarious account of what happens before during and after the even best planned weddings .  Everything from losing grandma to having the decorations on the tables catch on fire! 
I have been married for almost 40 years and am NOT planning on getting hitched again but I enjoyed every page of this book.  Married, single, planning to get married or not, "I DO "  is the perfect book to relax with, read and laugh , or in some cases cry at 15 years of weddings that Kiersten Hall has videoed.

SEEING RED BY SANDRA BROWN

SEEING RED BY SANDRA BROWN is another successful, and suspenseful book by an author whom I have read numerous times (some more than once)  SB puts the action and suspense in your face, fast & furious & all out thrilling read!  The characters, some likeable, others not ,  are very in depth and you either love em or hate em. 


Trapper, the drunk & washed out PI, son of an American hero, Kerra , the reporter who has not only a secret but a hell of a story of her own, and of course , the Major, father, hero & target, are the main characters in SEEING RED.  If you like your romance with a healthy dose of suspense and mystery then  SEEING RED BY SANDRA BROWN is the perfect read!
